NCL out-growers Scheme
Nalibe Company Ltd is a newly formed business registered in Ghana for the purpose of formalising an out-grower ploughing scheme for small farmers who do not have the appropriate mechanisation to guarantee that they do not miss the optimum sowing season. NCL share a passion to improve the living standards of the small scale farmer in Ghana through access to mechanisation with a consequential cash crop every year resulting in the removal of poverty and an improved outlook where the farmer can begin to help himself/ herself. NCL Community Agents 2018 seasonal briefings Nalibe Farmers Association which has been active since 2016, operating in Chereponi, Saboba and Gushiegu districts to assist rural women and peasant farmers gain access to tractor services for free at the start of the season. In the space of a few years the association grew from assisting 250 farmers to an excess of 1,100 and this along with the identifiable improved outlook for all concerned confirmed to the owner
